Denver, CO (July 27, 2026) – One person died, and several others were hurt following a traffic collision on I-25 near Auraria Parkway in Denver.
The crash happened during the early morning hours of Saturday, July 25, along the northbound lanes of I-25 near Auraria Parkway. Emergency units arrived at the roadway, where multiple people were reported with serious injuries. Northbound traffic was temporarily shut down while crews worked in the roadway and investigators examined what had happened.
According to initial information, a pedestrian lost their life after getting out of a stalled vehicle and being struck by oncoming traffic. The number of vehicles involved has not yet been released, and the person who died has not been publicly identified.
The cause of the collision remains under review as investigators continue gathering evidence.
