Alvaton, KY (July 27, 2026) – Two serious injury crashes were reported in Warren County shortly before 11:28 a.m. on July 25, with one involving multiple people trapped inside a vehicle on Cemetery Road.
The more severe of the two collisions occurred in the 11354 block of Cemetery Road in Alvaton, involving three vehicles. Emergency units arrived to find extensive damage and multiple injured people. Initial reports indicated that people could be heard screaming, while another person was found lying beside the roadway.
The situation was later upgraded to an entrapment after it was confirmed that two people were trapped inside a white vehicle. A total of six patients were identified, and one passenger was reported to be unresponsive and possibly deceased, although that information had not been officially confirmed. A medical helicopter was requested, and everyone involved was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The roadway was closed as crews worked at the site, and a reconstruction team was called in due to the severity of the collision. Cemetery Rd remained shut down for several hours while the investigation continued. The identities of those involved have not been released.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances that led to the wreck and are expected to release additional information as it becomes available.
