Bradford County, FL (August 12, 2026) – A motorcyclist died on August 11 after a crash on SE 8th Ave at SE 35th St, north of Melrose.
The wreck was reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. in the Speedville area of Bradford County. No other vehicles or people were involved, according to the initial report. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The person’s identity had not been released as of Wednesday.
SE 8th Ave was closed following the fatal accident, and drivers were advised to use another route. Emergency units remained at the location while the roadway was shut down. The cause of the collision has not been disclosed. The investigation into what led to the motorcycle wreck is continuing.
