Spring Hill, FL (June 24, 2026) – A Brooksville man lost his life early on Monday morning, June 21, after being struck by an SUV while attempting to cross State Road 50 in Spring Hill.
According to preliminary information, the fatal accident happened around 12:27 a.m. west of Deltona Boulevard. A Kia Telluride operated by a 65-year-old Spring Hill resident was traveling westbound along SR-50 when a 51-year-old man from Brooksville entered the roadway.
Investigators said the pedestrian moved into the vehicle’s path and was hit. The person was pronounced dead at the site. The Kia driver was not reported hurt.
