Albuquerque, NM (August 31, 2026) – A female pedestrian died on Monday morning, August 31, after a vehicle struck her at the intersection of Wyoming Blvd. and Constitution Ave. N.E. in Northeast Albuquerque.
Emergency units arrived shortly after the report was made at about 5:40 a.m. and attempted to provide first aid. Despite those efforts, the woman died from her injuries. Her identity had not been released in the initial report.
The vehicle involved was later towed from the roadway, and traffic lanes that had previously been closed were reopened. Drivers had initially been urged to avoid the surrounding area. The cause of the fatal collision remains under review as investigators continue gathering information.
