Rogersville, MO (August 13, 2026) – A 78-year-old Springfield man died after his e-bike was struck by a Ford F-550 on MO-125 in Christian County on Wednesday morning, August 12.
The wreck occurred around 7:57 a.m. about two miles south of Rogersville. The e-bike was traveling east when its driver failed to stop at a stop sign, according to the report.
A southbound 2017 Ford F-550 then struck the e-bike. The 28-year-old male driver of the Ford was not reported hurt, and his vehicle was driven from the scene.
The injured victim was taken into the care of the Christian County coroner and later transported to Southwest Missouri Forensics. The e-bike was towed from the site, while the Ford sustained extensive damage. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident remains underway.
