Santa Rosa County, FL (July 2, 2026) – A 77-year-old Milton woman was seriously injured on Wednesday afternoon after her SUV struck the rear of a tractor hauling a trailer on Morristown Road near Nelsontown Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the tractor was stopped around 1:40 p.m. while preparing to back into a construction site on the west side of Morristown Road. During that time, a white Ford SUV driven by the woman collided with the back of the trailer.
The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries. No further details about her condition were released.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under review as additional information is gathered. We are thinking of the woman injured and wish her a full recovery.
