What Is Commonly Reviewed in Pedestrian Roadway Collisions?
Pedestrian crashes are often examined by reviewing vehicle movement, roadway layout, and visibility conditions at the time of the collision. Investigators may also consider lighting, crossing points, and traffic flow near intersections or major roads.
Physical evidence such as vehicle damage, skid marks, and pedestrian landing points can help establish how the collision occurred. Medical evaluations are also used to understand injury severity. These factors are typically combined to reconstruct the sequence of events and provide clarity in pedestrian-related roadway incidents.
