The collision initially blocked the far-left lane, with two lanes remaining closed later. One vehicle became fully engulfed in flames, and multiple people were reported approximately 15 feet away as the fire continued. Emergency units remained at the location while vehicles were cleared and towed.

One vehicle was later reported off the roadway toward Vista Way. By about 6:20 p.m., all lanes had reopened, and the vehicles were being removed.
