Memphis, TN (May 21, 2026) – On Thursday morning, a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle left one person with serious injuries in the Cordova area of Memphis. The wreck took place shortly before 6:50 a.m. on Walnut Grove Road near Germantown Parkway.
The police said one person was taken to a hospital in critical condition after the roadway crash. Another person was detained, though investigators did not release additional details about why that person was taken into custody.
Traffic delays developed in the corridor as emergency units worked near the roadway. The identities of those involved have not been publicly released; however, investigators are continuing to gather details surrounding the morning collision.
