Vacaville, CA (July 30, 2026) – One person was hurt in a multi-vehicle collision along eastbound I-80 at the Alamo Drive off-ramp on the morning of July 29.
The crash was reported at about 4:05 a.m. and involved a blue Toyota Tacoma, a tan Toyota Camry, a Honda Accord, and a big rig. Police reports indicated that a person inside the Toyota Tacoma became trapped, prompting emergency units to assist at the scene.
As the response continued, the No. 5 lane and the Alamo Drive off-ramp were temporarily blocked by the big rig and the disabled Tacoma. By about 4:29 a.m., the mainline lanes had reopened, although the off-ramp remained closed. The Honda Accord was later towed from the area, and damage to approximately 10 feet of guardrail was also reported. Additional details about those involved had not been released. The cause of the collision remains under review as investigators continue gathering information.
