Duluth, MN (June 28, 2026) – One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 61 and East Superior St. in Duluth on Friday, June 26.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2024 Subaru Forester was traveling east on East Superior St. when it came into contact with a northbound 2013 Mini Cooper at the intersection. The roadway was dry at the time of the collision.
The Mini Cooper driver, 44-year-old Kevin Bruce Anderson of Duluth, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and taken to Essentia Health. The Subaru driver, 74-year-old Phillip Louis Huston of Silver Bay, and his passenger, 43-year-old Teresa Rena Lillie-Linwick of Stillwater, were not hurt. The cause of the crash remains under investigation as more information is gathered.
