Idaho Falls, ID (August 19, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, August 18, at the intersection of N 3900 E and County Line Rd, north of Idaho Falls. The wreck happened at about 4:30 p.m.
A 30-year-old woman from Rigby was driving north on N 3900 E in a silver 2018 Honda Odyssey when the vehicle failed to yield at a stop sign. A 59-year-old man from Rigby was traveling east on County Line Rd in a white 2026 Ford F-250 when the vehicles collided.
The Ford struck the driver’s side of the Honda. The Honda driver was not wearing a seat belt, while the Ford driver was properly restrained. The woman was taken to a local hospital by ground ambulance for treatment.
The intersection remained blocked for about three and a half hours while emergency units assisted those involved and cleared the roadway. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing.
