Louisville, KY (August 23, 2026) – A man was hurt on Friday night, August 21, after an SUV and a construction truck collided on I-71 North in Louisville. The collision occurred just north of Zorn Ave. around 8:55 p.m.

The man was taken to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was hurt, according to the initial report. All lanes of I-71 North were blocked as emergency units worked at the site. The right lane later reopened, allowing some traffic to pass through.
