London, KY (August 23, 2026) – One person lost their life, and two others were taken to a hospital after a head-on collision on Friday night, August 21, on North Laurel Road near London. The crash happened around 11:29 p.m.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said a car crossed the center line and entered the path of a pickup truck. The vehicles then collided head-on. The driver of the car, 69-year-old George Ferrell, was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup truck driver and a juvenile passenger were taken to a nearby hospital. The incident is actively being investigated by officials, and more information may be updated as it becomes available.
