Escondido, CA (September 3, 2026) – One person was injured after a motorcycle and a minivan crashed on Tuesday, September 1, on westbound State Route 78 near Sycamore Avenue in Escondido.
The crash was reported at approximately 8:15 p.m. and involved a dark green minivan and a motorcycle. Both vehicles came to rest on the right shoulder following the collision.
The motorcycle rider was transported to Palomar Medical Center for treatment. The minivan remained drivable and did not require medical transport. A tow service was requested for the motorcycle.
