Palm Springs, CA (August 17, 2026) – A fatal collision involving two Kia vehicles and a motorcycle was reported on August 16 at N Indian Canyon Dr and Teagarden Dr in Palm Springs.
The motorcycle rider was found underneath one of the vehicles, prompting emergency units to work to lift the vehicle and reach the person. The gray Kia, white Kia, and motorcycle were involved, according to the initial report. Both northbound and southbound lanes were shut down while crews worked at the site. A later update reported major damage, while the initial status of other injuries remained unclear.
A coroner was requested, and a tow service was also called to remove the vehicles and preserve two pieces of evidence.
