Whittier, CA (June 24, 2026) – At least one person was hurt in a two-vehicle traffic accident on June 23, on Interstate 605 near the Beverly Boulevard off-ramp in Whittier.
According to CHP reports, the wreck was reported around 9:59 p.m. on the southbound side of I-605 just north of Beverly Boulevard. Initial reports indicated that a black Tesla and a white sedan were involved. A caller advised that one person was lying on the ground following the collision.
Emergency units arrived and worked to assist those involved. Tow trucks were later requested to remove both vehicles from the roadway. The extent of the injuries has not been released, and no identities were made public following the crash.
The CHP is continuing to examine the circumstances that led to the accident.
