Bristol, CT (September 1, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision occurred on Farmington Avenue in the 450 block, leaving one person hurt and requiring hospital treatment on August 31. Emergency units arrived and confirmed that two vehicles were involved.
The patient was taken to Bristol Hospital for treatment. Crews also remained nearby to address leaking vehicle fluids, while the eastbound lanes of Farmington Avenue remained closed between Pond Street and West Street.
The closure was expected to remain in place until 5:00 a.m., with a detour available for drivers. The cause of the accident remains under review as additional details become available.
