Harris County, TX (August 19, 2026) – A 10-year-old girl was taken to a hospital after an accident involving an electric scooter and a car on Tuesday evening, August 18, in northwest Harris County. The girl was riding near the intersection of Lincolns Meadow Drive and Dukes Run Drive when she entered the intersection and was struck by a car.
The child suffered significant bleeding, and a tourniquet was applied before medical personnel arrived. She was then taken to a hospital for treatment. The driver remained at the intersection and cooperated with deputies.
The incoming lanes of Lincoln’s Meadow Drive were closed while the wreck was cleared. Those lanes later reopened on Tuesday evening.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under review as the investigation continues.
