Goodyear, AZ (August 19, 2026) – A 13-year-old boy riding an electric bicycle was killed on Monday night, August 17, after being struck by a car near 185th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. Deputies were called to the area around 8 p.m. and found the boy with life-threatening injuries.
The boy was taken to a hospital for treatment, but later died from his injuries. He was a student in the Litchfield Elementary School District. Authorities have not released information about the driver involved in the crash. The circumstances that led to the collision remain under investigation. Detectives continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
