Fairfax, VA (July 27, 2026) – Two people were hurt after an elderly driver drove into a farmers’ market stand in the 10000 block of Main Street shortly before noon on Saturday, July 25. An adult and a child were struck during the incident and were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the driver, an elderly woman, was not hurt. The farmers’ market continued operating as scheduled, and no disruptions to market hours were reported.
The child involved was not publicly identified, and no additional details about the people involved had been released at the time of publication. Investigators are continuing to examine what led up to the wreck.
