Brockton, MA (August 12, 2026) – A trooper was hurt, and another person suffered life-threatening injuries after a collision involving a police cruiser.
Police arrived at 899 Belmont St. at about 10:50 p.m. on Monday, August 10, after a police cruiser and another vehicle collided. Emergency units also went to the location to assist those involved.
The trooper had a broken arm, while a person in the other vehicle sustained life-threatening injuries. A second person in that vehicle was less seriously hurt.
The investigation into the cause of the collision remains underway, with additional details expected as the review continues.
