Temecula, CA (August 5, 2026) – A multi-vehicle traffic collision with reported injuries occurred on August 4 on the northbound I-15 near the Winchester Road (SR-79) interchange.
Initial police reports indicated that three to four vehicles were involved, with the crash blocking the two right lanes before later affecting the slow lane. Dispatch updates later described the pileup as involving four vehicles, including a white Kia Sportage, a white utility truck, a small SUV, and a red Toyota RAV4. A caller advised that medical assistance was needed for at least one person.
Emergency units arrived to assist those involved, while tow trucks were requested to remove multiple disabled vehicles from the freeway.
