Roseville, CA (August 4, 2026) – Two people were hurt in a traffic collision on August 2 on southbound SR-65 just south of Blue Oaks Boulevard in Roseville shortly before 12:45 p.m. Emergency units were called after reports of a black Honda Accord and a Jeep Grand Cherokee striking each other on the southbound on-ramp.
According to dispatch information, both vehicles came to rest on the right-hand shoulder of the on-ramp. The Jeep Grand Cherokee’s airbags deployed, and one of the occupants reported smoke inside the vehicle following the crash. Tow trucks were requested for both vehicles after the Honda sustained major rear-end damage and the Jeep suffered significant front-end damage.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation as investigators continue gathering information.
