St. Louis, MO (September 10, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident occurred on Wednesday night, September 9, on St. Charles Rock Rd at I-270, leaving one driver hurt.
The vehicles involved were a 2015 Toyota RAV4 and a 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. The RAV4 was westbound when its driver was making a left turn and crossed the center of the roadway.
The front left side of the RAV4 struck the left side of the Tahoe. The 51-year-old Tahoe driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for treatment. The 33-year-old RAV4 driver was not reported hurt.
The Tahoe sustained extensive damage and was towed from the location, while the RAV4 had minor damage and was driven away. Both drivers were wearing safety devices. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident remains underway.
