El Dorado Hills, CA (August 6, 2026) – Two vehicles were involved in a traffic accident on eastbound US-50 just west of Bass Lake Road on August 6.
According to CHP dispatch information, the crash was reported at about 8:22 p.m. and involved a red Ford Mustang and a white sport utility vehicle. Both vehicles came to rest in the center divider. Emergency units were dispatched after the report was updated from a no-injury call to one involving possible injuries.
The extent of any injuries has not been released. Additional details about those involved were not disclosed, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation as more information is gathered.
