Lancaster, CA (August 6, 2026) – A two-vehicle traffic collision occurred on northbound State Route 14 just north of Avenue L on August 6. The California Highway Patrol log indicates the vehicles involved were a gray Scion sedan and a Jeep Cherokee, with both initially blocking the middle lanes.
The report was first received shortly before 8:50 p.m. after a caller near a baseball field reported hearing the two-vehicle collision. An ambulance was requested to assist at the left shoulder, where a black Mercedes GLK and either a Honda or Acura were also noted in an updated dispatch entry. Emergency units later requested two tow trucks due to major front-end damage.
The extent of any injuries has not been confirmed. The cause of the crash remains under investigation as more information becomes available.
