Roy, WA (July 5, 2026) – Two adults and two dogs were killed on Friday afternoon, July 3, in a motorhome fire in the 8700 block of 312th Street in Roy, according to the police report.
Firefighters were dispatched at approximately 2:19 p.m. after reports of a structure fire involving a recreational vehicle. Officials said the fire spread beyond the motorhome, extending into nearby grassland on farm property and reaching a storage shed. Fire crews worked to extinguish the flames and remained on scene to handle remaining hot spots after the fire was brought under control.
The identities and genders of the two adults have not yet been confirmed. The cause of the fire has also not been determined at this time.
