Iosco Township, MI (August 17, 2026) – Two motorcyclists were seriously injured and transported to the hospital following a collision on Saturday night on Gregory Road south of Crofoot Road in Iosco Township. The collision occurred around 8 p.m.
A 33-year-old Brighton man was riding a 2022 Suzuki R600 north on Gregory Road when the motorcycle side-swiped a 2025 Kawasaki KLX110 operated by a 27-year-old Howell man. The Suzuki rider lost control after the impact and traveled about 200 feet into the woods. Both riders were taken to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing in critical condition.
The roadway remained closed for about four hours while the crash scene was investigated and cleared. The incident remains under review, with speed identified as a contributing factor in the preliminary investigation.
