Florence County, SC (June 19, 2026) – Two people suffered serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US-378 and Halfmoon Rd in Florence County on Wednesday, June 17.
Emergency crews with Florence County Fire Rescue responded to the scene at approximately 11:00 a.m. Upon arrival, responders found two vehicles involved in the collision and began providing aid to those injured.
Officials reported that one of the drivers was ejected from a vehicle during the crash. Both injured individuals were transported from the scene for additional medical treatment. Information regarding their current conditions has not been released.
The westbound lane of the roadway remained closed for several hours while emergency crews cleared debris and investigators documented the crash scene. Traffic in the area was affected throughout the afternoon. Investigators with the South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
