Spring Valley, CA (July 8, 2026) – Three people were involved in a serious collision early on Tuesday morning, July 7, on Ramona Ave., leaving one person hospitalised and prompting a temporary road closure as emergency units assisted those involved.
According to dispatch information, the three-vehicle crash was reported shortly before 12:45 a.m. near 945 Ramona Ave. Initial reports indicated that multiple vehicles were blocking lanes. Two people in separate vehicles were trapped and pinned inside following the collision, requiring emergency units to free them.
One person was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment. Later updates indicated that all vehicles had been removed from the roadway and every lane had reopened. Dispatch records also stated that the crash was believed to be DUI-related, with one person cited and released.
