Bernie, MO (August 1, 2026) – Three people were injured after a three-vehicle crash on MO-25 about half a mile south of Bernie on Thursday evening. The collision happened around 7 p.m. on July 30.
According to the crash report, a southbound Toyota Camry was overtaking another vehicle when it struck a northbound Jeep Wrangler head-on. The Jeep left the roadway and overturned after the impact. The Camry remained in the roadway and was later struck by a southbound Chevrolet Silverado. The Camry driver, a 22-year-old Sikeston woman, suffered moderate injuries.
The Jeep driver, a 47-year-old Parma woman, suffered minor injuries, and the Silverado driver, a 54-year-old Malden man, suffered moderate injuries. All three were taken by EMS to St. Francis Medical Center.
