Columbia, MO (August 1, 2026) – The Columbia Fire Department reported a crash involving a sedan and a large truck on southbound US Highway 63 at Discovery Parkway on Thursday afternoon, July 30. The collision happened shortly before 3 p.m.
A photo from the scene showed a black sedan that had struck the side of a large truck and the median barrier area. Emergency units responded, and the left lane of the highway was closed while crews worked at the scene. A tow truck later removed the sedan from the median, and all emergency vehicles cleared the area before 3:30 p.m.
