Green Bay, WI (August 1, 2026) – One person was hurt in a multi-vehicle collision on the Leo Frigo Bridge in Green Bay early on Friday morning, leading to the closure of the southbound lanes for nearly two hours.
The roadway was shut down after the wreck was reported shortly before 5:45 a.m. Traffic was diverted while emergency units worked in the area and crews cleared the vehicles involved.
One person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Detectives did not specify how many vehicles were involved, and no names or additional details about those involved were released; however, the cause of the crash remains under investigation as they continue to gather information.
