Lilbourn, MO (August 10, 2026) – Three people were seriously injured on Saturday evening, August 8, after a 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor ran off the left side of Missouri Hwy U at Weeks St. in Lilbourn.
The vehicle was traveling westbound around 6:50 p.m. when it left the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned into a house. All three people inside were ejected from the Mitsubishi.
A 17-year-old girl from Cairo, Illinois, and a 23-year-old man from Cape Girardeau were taken by emergency units to St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau. The 25-year-old driver from Portageville was taken by air ambulance to Regional One Health in Memphis.
The Mitsubishi was listed as a total loss and was towed from the property. The investigation into the cause of the rollover remains underway, with further details expected as the inquiry continues.
