San Joaquin Co., CA (June 26, 2026) – A three-vehicle crash was reported on Thursday afternoon, June 25, at Jack Tone Road and State Route 4 in San Joaquin County. The accident was logged around 2:55 p.m.
Initial California Highway Patrol information indicated that a white Chevrolet truck, a black truck, and a black SUV were involved. The report stated that the white Chevrolet truck hit the other two vehicles at the intersection.
CHP logs noted that all vehicles were blocking the intersection after the collision. Tow crews were requested for multiple vehicles.
A later update said the Chevrolet Silverado had major front-end damage and a damaged left front tire. The cause of the collision is still under review.
We hope anyone injured receives proper care and recovers safely.
What Makes Intersection Accidents Harder to Clear?
Intersection crashes can quickly disrupt traffic because damaged vehicles may stop in the middle of crossing lanes. When more than two vehicles are involved, drivers may have little room to move around the blocked roadway.
Tow crews may be needed when vehicles have front-end damage, tire damage, or cannot be driven safely. Clearing an intersection can take time if several vehicles need to be removed.
Crash reviews regularly focus on vehicle paths, traffic controls, final stopping points, and damage patterns. Early CHP logs may describe the lane blockage and vehicle types before more complete injury details are available.
