Long Beach, CA (June 26, 2026) – Minor injuries were reported early on Friday, June 26, after a crash on eastbound State Route 91 near Atlantic Avenue in Long Beach. The accident was first logged around 12:32 a.m.
Initial California Highway Patrol information indicated that multiple vehicles were involved east of Atlantic Avenue. Early details described a white SUV and a white sedan, and later updates reported an overturned white Tesla and a white Toyota Camry blocking the HOV lane.
CHP logs also noted that an additional vehicle was on its roof in the slower lanes. At one point, all lanes on eastbound SR-91 were stopped while crews worked at the site.
A later update described the crash as involving multiple vehicles, with minor injuries reported. CHP also noted that one vehicle fled the scene, though all parties were later accounted for. Tow crews and Long Beach Fire Department personnel were requested. Investigators are reviewing the wreck on eastbound SR-91 near Atlantic Avenue.
