Miami Co., OH (June 1, 2026) – A 50-year-old Dayton man died after a motorcycle accident on Saturday, May 30, in Miami County. The accident happened at the intersection of State Route 49 and State Route 721.
Law enforcement was called to the intersection after reports of a motorcycle and car collision. When they arrived, they found the motorcyclist with critical injuries.
The rider was identified as Aaron Barke, 50, of Dayton. He was flown to Miami Valley Hospital, where he later died.
The driver of the car, a 76-year-old from Tennessee, had minor injuries. No additional details about the wreck were released in the initial report. The cause of the crash remains under review as investigators continue gathering information.
