Grand Haven Township, MI (June 20, 2026) – Six people were hurt in a three-vehicle collision on Thursday afternoon near the intersection of Mercury Drive and Comstock Street in Grand Haven Township.
The crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, about four miles southeast of Grand Haven. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, a 23-year-old Muskegon woman was driving northwest on Mercury Drive when she began turning left onto Comstock Street and was struck by an oncoming minivan.
The minivan was driven by a 44-year-old Grand Haven woman and carried four children. After the initial collision, a third vehicle, occupied by a 40-year-old Grand Haven woman, was struck while stopped on Comstock Street, waiting for traffic to clear.
Both drivers involved in the first collision and the four children sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene. The intersection was temporarily closed while crews cleared the roadway and reviewed the crash. The investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
