North Attleboro, MA (June 25, 2026) – Six people were injured following a head-on collision late on Wednesday night on Route 1 in North Attleboro.
According to North Attleboro Fire Chief Christopher Coleman, emergency crews responded to the crash at approximately 11:15 p.m. on June 24 along Route 1.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found one of the vehicles engulfed in flames. Officials reported that all occupants involved in the collision were able to exit their vehicles before the fire spread.
Emergency medical personnel evaluated those involved and transported six people to local hospitals for treatment. Authorities said the victims sustained serious injuries, though none of the injuries were considered life-threatening.
Firefighters extinguished the burning vehicle while police and emergency responders secured the area and assisted the injured. Investigators have not yet determined what caused the head-on collision. The crash remains under investigation.
