San Antonio, TX (August 18, 2026) – Three people were hospitalized after six vehicles collided at Culebra Road and Village Park on San Antonio’s West Side on Sunday morning, August 16, around 11 a.m.
According to a preliminary report, a 29-year-old man was driving a Hyundai Sonata east on Culebra Road and attempted to turn onto Village Park. At the same time, a Ford F-150 and a Chevrolet Silverado were traveling west on Culebra Road. Police said the Silverado rear-ended the F-150, sending the Ford onto the sidewalk and into a telephone pole.
The Silverado also struck a GMC Acadia stopped at a red light, pushing the GMC into the intersection and into the Hyundai. The Silverado then veered right and struck a Dodge Ram. The Hyundai rotated and hit a Nissan Frontier stopped at Village Park before the Nissan moved backward into the Dodge.
The 29-year-old Hyundai driver, the F-150 driver, and the Silverado driver were hospitalized. Two were reported in critical but non-life-threatening condition, while the third suffered non-critical injuries.
