Pasadena, TX (July 31, 2026) – A 65-year-old man lost his life after a house fire destroyed a residence near the intersection of Brown St and Camille St in Pasadena early on Thursday morning.
The fire began around 2 a.m. on July 30, prompting emergency units to the home. According to the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office, crews arrived to find heavy flames at the rear of the residence that quickly spread throughout the structure. The man was later found inside the heavily damaged home and was pronounced dead.
Officials said the fire was contained to the affected residence, preventing it from spreading to neighboring homes. A nearby resident reportedly noticed smoke, walked toward the house, saw the fire, and called 911. Investigators believe the victim had health issues that prevented him from escaping. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and the investigation remains active.
