Lancaster, CA (January 2, 2026) – A tragic two-vehicle crash claimed the life of 21-year-old Emmanuel Juarez early on Thursday morning at an intersection in the eastern region of Lancaster, according to the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner.
The collision occurred around 6:53 a.m. near the intersection of 170th St East and Avenue P. Initial reports from the California Highway Patrol indicate that two vehicles were involved, and the force of the impact caused one of the vehicles to veer off the roadway and strike a light pole.
Juarez was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel. No information was released regarding his city of residence or the identity and condition of others involved in the crash.
Authorities have not yet determined what led to the fatal collision, and the investigation remains ongoing. Traffic was temporarily affected in the area as officers documented the scene and cleared debris.
