St. Charles Co, MO (January 7, 2026) – A four-vehicle collision on westbound Interstate 64 left one man injured Tuesday evening after a chain-reaction crash just west of WingHaven Blvd in St. Charles County.
The incident occurred around 5:35 p.m. and involved a 2025 Jeep Compass, 2019 Dodge Charger, 2016 Jeep Wrangler, and 2020 Ford Focus, all traveling westbound. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash began when the Dodge Charger, driven by a 38-year-old man from Wentzville, struck the rear of the Ford Focus, operated by a 50-year-old Wentzville resident.
The impact caused the Ford Focus to collide with the back of a Jeep Wrangler. The Focus then rotated counterclockwise, striking the Jeep Compass. Simultaneously, the Wrangler rotated and struck the Charger a second time, resulting in multiple points of contact among the vehicles.
The driver of the Ford Focus sustained moderate injuries and was transported by the St. Charles County Ambulance District to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital – Lake Saint Louis. The remaining drivers, including a 48-year-old male in the Wrangler and a 31-year-old female in the Compass, were not reported injured and were able to drive their vehicles from the scene.
Two vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene by Superior Towing. The remaining two suffered moderate to minor damage.
