Toledo, OH (January 8, 2026) – Crews were dispatched late on Tuesday morning to a two-vehicle crash that resulted in injuries at the intersection of Auburn Ave and Central Ave in Toledo. The collision was reported around 11:56 a.m., prompting a multi-unit emergency response.
According to dispatch audio from Toledo Police Central, the crash involved a white Chevy Silverado and a blue Buick Enclave. The vehicles were reportedly blocking traffic at the intersection, creating disruptions in the area as responders arrived on the scene.
Paramedics were dispatched to assess injuries, though the extent and number of those hurt have not yet been publicly detailed. Additional police units were called to assist with traffic control and scene management.
The intersection remained partially blocked for a period of time while responders worked to clear the wreckage and assist those involved. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
