Placerville, CA (January 8, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash late Thursday night in Placerville left one person injured and requiring hospitalization, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred around 11:45 p.m. on Pleasant Valley Rd near Holm Rd. Two vehicles were involved in the incident, though the circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. Responding emergency crews arrived at the scene to assess the situation and assist those involved.

One individual sustained injuries and was transported to Marshall Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The extent of their injuries has not yet been confirmed.
