San Bernardino, CA (January 8, 2026) – One person was injured Sunday evening in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 215 near the Interstate 10 interchange, according to reports from the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred around 3:47 p.m. PST and involved several vehicles in a congested section of the freeway. Emergency personnel responded quickly and discovered that at least one occupant had become trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters utilized extrication tools to safely remove the individual from the damaged vehicle.
Paramedics treated the injured person at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further care. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been disclosed.
