Cajon Pass, CA (January 8, 2026) – Three individuals suffered injuries Saturday afternoon after a solo-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 15 near the Kenwood Ave exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred around 3:37 p.m. on January 3, when a silver Dodge Ram 1500 traveling southbound hydroplaned due to rainy weather conditions. The vehicle veered off the roadway and struck an embankment in the center median before rolling several times.
Emergency personnel responded quickly to the scene and located all three occupants of the pickup truck. Medics evaluated and treated the injured individuals for minor injuries at the scene. It is not known if anyone required transport to a hospital for additional care.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash and are urging drivers to use caution during inclement weather, especially along steep and curving stretches of the Cajon Pass.
