Pompano Beach, FL (January 8, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to an early morning crash with injuries near the intersection of Powerline Road and West Copans Road in Pompano Beach. The incident was reported around 4:49 a.m., according to dispatch audio from Broward County Fire/Rescue.
Rescue 52 and Engine 52 were dispatched to the scene and confirmed the crash occurred in the westbound lanes of W Copans Rd near Powerline Rd. The nature and extent of the injuries have not yet been disclosed, but crews were actively engaged in providing medical aid to those involved.
